March is a busy time for me. It's fiscal year-end at my day job, and it is also when we prepare for the upcoming summer workload. That has left little time for me to dedicate to updating the site regularly. But the others here and I are doing our best to post at least one thing per week, so that's good.
Otherwise, it's business as usual around here.
Events
March was a barren month for events. Like I said, it was a busy time at work. When it comes to planning, I also consider the current world climate.
Without getting political, I find it sad that the place that I now travel to the most (America) is becoming hostile towards Canada. It's making me think twice about if it's worth the hassle of crossing the border to see a show.
If the climate continues to be as dumb as it is now, I may stick to Canada or go directly to the sources of my entertainment instead.
Music
Remixes
tripleS +(KR)ystal Eyes - Cherry Talk
I wanted to retain much of the original's charm for my remix, but give it a new twist. I thought I would take the track into New Jack Swing territory, but things went differently as I started building the new instrumental. The finished product leans much more toward the pop side of the musical spectrum, which at least helps keep the tie to what made the original version so appealing intact.
On the technical side, my remix isn't as robust with layers of sound and effects. You'll understand what I mean by listening to the Cherry Talk instrumental on the tripleS 4Work4Study4Inst album. In comparison, my remix is relatively stripped down and simple.
Below are my favourites from March 2025.
Albums
3HOUSE - TERMINAL 3
3HOUSE's Terminal 3 is full of smooth R&B songs, perfect for unwinding after a long day or to have on in the background during a lazy block when you want to sit back and do nothing.
The only drawback to this album is that some of its best songs are also the shortest.
LADY GAGA - MAYHEM
I do not follow Western artists closely these days, but I still keep tabs on noteworthy releases. Lady Gaga's Mayhem was highly anticipated, so when it was released, I decided to give it a listen.
The album was quite a ride. It's front-loaded with high-energy songs to grab your attention, then settles into equally catchy but less overwhelming pop-dance tracks and ends with some slower songs.
Mayhem was undoubtedly a surprise to my cynical ear. It was worth the hype.
LE SSERAFIM - HOT
HOT is an album I have in my queue for a full-length review, so I'll save the majority of my comments for that. HOT has a very different vibe compared to LE SSERAFIM's past releases, which makes for an entertaining listen for those willing to open up to what they're doing this time around.
Songs
These are the singles or album cuts that caught my ear in March.
J-HOPE & Miguel - Sweet Dreams
Lizzo - Still Bad
NMIXX - KNOW ABOUT ME
乃木坂46 - ネーブルオレンジ
SKE48 - Unlimited

STAYC - BEBE
tripleS - Paindrop

Conclusion
I'm glad the March chaos has ended, but it has resulted in a backlog of stuff I must catch up on for the site. Such is life.
